2013 Sponsor of the Ellie Fund Do Good Campaign

2013 Sponsor of the Ellie Fund Do Good CampaignThis October, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cape Clogs is again participating in the Ellie Fund’s annual Do Good Campaign bringing local businesses together to help fight breast cancer.

For every pair of Pink Ribbon Clogs purchased in October, Cape Clogs is donating $5 to the Ellie Fund to help provide for the immediate needs of women and families undergoing treatment for breast cancer. They can be purchased online or at the Onset retail store.

See our Cape Clogs Do Good page on The Ellie Fund’s website.

The Do Good Campaign is a 10-week-long marketing initiative beginning September and wrapping in mid-November. Each participating business hosts a special sale or an event in support of the Ellie Fund’s mission to help local families fight breast cancer.

The Ellie Fund’s goal for the 2013 Do Good Campaign is to raise $80,000, which will go directly benefit local families who are fighting breast cancer.

The Ellie Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that fights breast cancer and eases its effects on patients and families. They provide groceries, nutritious meals, transportation to medical appointments, childcare, and housekeeping free of charge to more than 500 breast cancer patients and family members across Massachusetts every year.

2013 Sponsor of the Ellie Fund Do Good CampaignIn 2011, there were 236,000 diagnosed cases of breast cancer. The Ellie Fund helps more than 50 new patients and their families each month, and has yet to turn anyone away. They can do this because of generous support from their partners during the Do Good Campaign.
