Who Let the Clogs Out?
Our Onset grand opening was featured in the Wareham Courier in an article called “Who Let the Clogs Out?”

“I had excess inventory and I decided Onset could use a little Swedish boost,” said Irving, who lives near Monument Beach in Bourne, but said Onset reminds her of one of her favorite fishing villages in Sweden.
The store was abuzz with clog shoppers and curious locals who wandered by on foot during Cape Clog’s opening May 2. As part of the Grand Opening celebration, Irving treated guests to Swedish meatballs, Swedish Fish and Swedish treats.
So far, Irving said she likes her new spot in Onset.
“It’s been very welcoming. I’ve already sold several pairs,” said Irving. “People seem to be very curious about the footwear from Sweden because it’s a unique product that people are curious about.”
Fashion aside, Irving said there are some benefits to wearing shoes with wooden foot beds because wood does not move and your foot returns to the same position after every step.
“Your foot doesn’t have to work as hard,” said Irving.
All adult clogs are one pair for $30 and two pairs for $50. Kids’ clogs are one pair for $15 and two for $25.
