For the 8th year in a row, Cape Clogs will be a QVC.com-level donor for the annual QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” (also sponsored by the Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation).
The largest fundraising event of the shoe industry, the evening benefits breast cancer research. October is “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”.
This year’s gala event will be held at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City on Monday, October 1st. This meaningful evening consists of dinner, awards, dancing, and of course, fabulous shoe shopping! Julianne Hough, QVC’s 2013 Public Service Announcement Spokesperson, is scheduled to attend this fun and momentous occasion.
While Cape Clogs founder Pam Irving will be unable to attend the event herself, she is passionate about donating to this wonderful cause in memory of her mother. Her Pink Ribbon Clogs will be displayed on the back wall at the event. With each purchase of these Pink Ribbon Clogs in October, $5 will be donated to The Ellie Fund to help provide for the immediate needs of women and families undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
In its 20-year history, the event has donated more than $40 million to benefit breast cancer research and educational institutions from coast to coast.
