The gala, a celebration of the 85th Academy Awards, is an exclusive invite-only celebrity event with press, red carpet, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live music. It’s the first annual evening event hosting the presentation of the annual “Ernie” Award in honor of Oscar-winning actor Ernest Borgnine, the father of Nancee Borgnine. The “Ernie” Award will be presented each year to an actor who exemplifies all that Ernie held in high regard in the field of acting.
